Overview

Wisdom to BELIEVE is an Atlanta workforce-development nonprofit. It walks alongside young adults who are ready to work, giving them business skills, education, paid apprenticeships, and a path into careers or business ownership.

The organization had a track record: a 2024 Workforce Excellence Award, a 93% job-placement rate, and graduates starting at an average of $68K. But all of that lived in PDFs, one-pagers, and the founder's relationships. There was no website. In 2026 the organization went through a full brand repositioning. A brand designer built the identity, and I owned everything that turned that identity into a working product on the web.

Deliverables

Strategy & IA
Audience mapping, sitemap, navigation model, and one page per audience pathway.

Build
Designed and developed the production site in Lovable, iterating directly in code.

Problem Statement

How might we give one small nonprofit a single place where an apprentice, an employer, a college, an entrepreneur, and a funder each see themselves and know their next step?

Research & Insights

Stakeholder discovery
Sessions with the founder and brand designer to understand the model, each audience, and what success looks like for each.

Content audit
Reviewed the founding story, the overview one-pager, the Employer, Partner, and Donor leave-behinds, and the brand style guide line by line.

Audience mapping
Mapped each audience to its key question, the tone the brand prescribes for it, and the action that counts as a conversion.

Competitive review
Studied how established workforce and entrepreneurship nonprofits split audiences, show outcomes, and ask for support.
